That's not how it works in any universe in which there is a character like that. Being some sort of demigod-like figure doesn't make one immortal or invincible. You've got a lot of power, but are still vulnerable to anything that can cause harm to ordinary people. If any mythological/folkloric being were like that, the individual would essentially be a deity, not a mortal who was chosen by the gods/goddesses to become a powerful legend. It makes the character vastly overpowered by many standards, so there's literally almost nothing that can weaken or defeat that person.
