Really having a hard time to see in a cave with COT and ELFX on..
For those who uses COT and ELFX both at the same time, I could like to know how are u supposed to fight inside a dungeon. It's way too dark inside that you can't see whats it 2 feet in front of you. I'm using a bow, so If I hold a torch, I can't shoot, if I can't shoot I die.. I really like both mod's lighting effects, but the only thing I hate is the darkness inside a dungeon. How do you overcome this??

You can use the light spell before you engage enemies.

The simple spell candlelite is good for about 180 seconds I think I use that.

Go to a sword also if you use a torch you can get really good sword skills with that combo in a dungeon.

I am using RealVision ENB with CoT and ELFX. Visibility in dungeons isn't a problem. This makes me to think that your other setting may be too low?

If you don't have any performance issues, then you might wish to try installing RealVision ENB and see how it works for you. Option B (I am using perfomance version) only requires CoT Weather patch + ENBSeries version: 0.254 (ENBoost is recommended for all players anyway) and RealVision ENB file to work with what you already have. That might solve your problems.

Pay attention to instructions. In addition of installing this ENB, you will have to activate it from file in a Data folder.

Even if you would decide that RealVision is not for you, installing ENBoost is very much recommended. It will boost your stability and releaf you from few perfomance issues in this game. enbdev.com is a bit hassle to navigate, so I will give you a direct link to Skyrim ENB series.

You have your settings set to dark, other way is to use wearable lanterns.

I actually gave up that mod for another one. Lanterns from this mod can be picked up by the player and carried around, while they burn.

Lanterns come from Wearable Lanterns, so there really isn't any compatibility issues between them, if someone wishes to use WL with this mod. NPCs are (as mod name tells us) using them, so at least you can aim your arrows to lighted targets.

Not always, thoug. Sometimes you simply run, without seeing much, while a someone tries to you hit you with a two-handed sword in the middle of darness. Keeps things interesting :)

Use a torch, or turn off ELFX. Thats what its there for after all. Ever noticed how you never actually need a torch in vanilla Skryim...?!

Yes, Sofia reminds me every now and then. I had completely forgotten. :-P

Something has happened to one of my mods. Going to have to do an uninstall/reinstall, I do believe. I can see inside my dungeons again, and I liked it almost too dark to see anything. Much more enjoyable to me.

Nice one. As soon as I can figure out what's happened to my brightness, I'll check it out tout suite.

Just use the candlelight spell, but if you have too much trouble I recommend 2 mods, Candlelight Toggle and Warmer Magic Lights, these 2 mods helps a lot with interiors and exteriors !!!
