Buying "legendary" upgrades the original game
I had the original game, and instead of purchasing the 2 main DLC for $20 based off the quakecon sale, I purchased the Legendary edition for $13. It acts as the same game and the DLC files can be found under DATA FILES at the "Play" screen.

Great how they punish early buyers like that, no?

No not really.

Having the same issue. Already had Skyrim and just bought the Legendary edition on sale. Shows a few other purchases along with Legendary edition but it does not show up in my library. As DarkGhost said, the game is still the same as well.

It's not an issue. The Legendary Edition is not a separate game, it is just the base game with all DLC.

If I had only scrolled down slightly when grabbing the DLC I would have noticed that I could have saved 9 bucks if I had bought the Legendary Edition instead. There are no words for my dumbassery. FML #FirstWorldProblems

In the future, I will just wait for the LEGENDARYGOTY edition. it is the trend for all bethesda games.
