Should i get skyrim?
I've always been a fps guy, however as of recent i've been wanting something a bit more long lasting, something abit more rewarding. I've always sort of overlooked games like skyrim due to the 'nerdy' themes in them, is it time i took the plunge while it's £2.49 for the next 13 hours or so?

Up to you. Check out vids and reviews - what if I say yes and you get it and you hate it? lmao

I reckon it's worth the full price I paid :)

Look, upto YOU, decide for yourself,
It is a good FPS game IF- I F you are ok with oldie - worldie genre, and your GUN is a Bow.

If you can accept this,,, then Skyrim will change your Futuristic, M4 Carbine Zombie slugging bingeing, to instead satiate your 'Ye olde questing desires for power, magicka and Greatsword head-cleaving needs...

Oh, and you will become a master Blacksmith in Heavy Armour, or my name is wkjghl;jaghlaiughkljgzilxgfu.

The music is beautiful to listen to.. It will make you fall asleep at keyboard regularly.
The views are STUNNING. Skyrim is a TESTER BENCHMARK for PC system performance and capability. The sandboxing alone kills hundreds of hours.

The lovely landscape is still beautiful yet perhaps often 'barren' (<-maybe?) in vanilla, but with mods... BREATHTAKING.

GET THIS GAME.

there is a lot of cheese and nerd here, but that said, the game is really pretty cool. It will be lackluster compared to most FPS, but if you can get past the role-playing, fantasy aspects, the game can be pretty fun, but it is not really a fps, even if using bows..there is a lot of story, most of it is not that great and the voice acting is rather nerdish. For the asking price, I say take a plunge and keep an open mind

lol, nerdy themes....

Yeah, if you wanna try something like this, Skyrim is a good gateway. Fallout 3, though a bit dated, might suit you better if you can't get past the nerdy themes :P

If you have the money you should really get the Legendary Edition.

Post what you think after you try it.
I dislike RPGs usually unless they have a thrilling story.
First RPG I love for the gameplay and sidequests that keep you interested.
If you love just exploring with no set path to "Beat" the game. This will last 100+ hours.

100+
Hmm depends how you play it - I have done hardly any of main questline and logged up tonnes more than 100 hours... That's the beauty of Skyrim - it's so indiviual in its application...

You can get much more out of it. I was giving a light estimate of a once run through of literally everything. Without mods, ect. With mods and other add ons it can be played uniquely for a life time.
