The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
season unending vs. total victory
During my first playthrough, I read somewhere that it's more favorable to fully complete the Civil War through total victory for your side rather than hold off for Season Unending. Now that I am on a new playthrough after a very long break, I am wondering, is that still preferable, or is it better to get peace through the Season Unending bargaining? Thanks in advance.

If you do Season Unending (If I'm not mistaken) you can still complete the civil war later. Since it's just a cease fire and not a peace treaty. Though I perfer to complete the civil war for one side before I get far in the main storyline because Season Unending to me is such a headache.

cool, thanks for cleaing that up. so either way, I can complete either SC or IL lines? Even after Season Unending?
Yes you can. Unless you've already join one of them which in that case your faction is locked to them, you can join either one of them and break the ceasefire.
