Making use of the days, weeks, and months

Is there a mod that makes npc do certain thing depending on the day of the week? Such as having most shops close on weekends and holidays. I just want to have the days have more meaning instead of seeing the npc doing the same thing everyday. The only quest that the days matter was one of the dark brotherhood's quest. The only people that days matter to are the khajiit caravan.

That is what the Creation Kit is for.

The base game will support that sort of thing - its just a lot of work redoing all the AI scripting to change everyone's schedule.

The only mod I know that even attempts anything like that is 'Wet &Cold: Holidays', which adds holidays to the game where people come out to celebrate.

At least it's something. They could have it on Sunday and Saturday where the npc just chill at home or the inn

I'd never noticed that before. Perhaps because it took so long to persuade our stupid government to allow Sunday trading in the first place. Living in a city it's almost a given that everything is 24/7. I hope you find what you are looking for OP.

Hehe, depends on your "city". Most of the cities I'm familiar with...everything closes at around 6pm and a lot of places close on the weekends. There's quite a bit of difference between big Cities and small ones.

Yes it is called Wet and Cold holidays (Nexus). It is a permanent part of my load order.
