Awwwww, sorry. It stinks, I know.

For me, starting is always my favorite part. Once I get the top gear, I'm usually bored.

Starting over isn't so bad, daughter keeps me fed etc.. But rotten luck, Romire, and I hope your new game remains stable for you.. at least you have a whole weekend (almost) ahead of you :)

corrupted files?
You mean the saves?
You have only one? I always keep a lot of saves and I never had the problem with corrupted saves.

For me - the only time I've ever had a saved game get corrupted was when I accidentally hit Quickload during a conversation. Never usually use either Quicksave or Quickload.

You don't cloud your save?

If the data is important you should also use a SS external device like a usb thumb drive.
Save more compulsively! I always have at least five files per character, including the quicksave.

Nope. While it may sound different, or even fluffy, a cloud save is still hard data so it may as well be resident on a drive that I can identify and have access to, even without internet access. Like MageThis suggests, I use USB Flash Drives to store important data on and to keep backups of my backups on. Should I backup my backed up backups? Hmm... nah :D
Just use console...
