Anyway to disable friendly fire?
Hate this so much. I keep on accidently killing companions as I'm a mage. I tried skytweak and I entered the mod and sellected both 'perks' that prevent stagger and damage and shot my follower with a spell and she still took damage? Why?

I dont use that mod, but perhaps it only works "in combat." If there's enemies nearby and they get caught in the crossfire, maybe then they wouldn't be damaged.

Do you by chance have the Dragonborn DLC? One of the black books offers a Companions Insight, where attacks, shouts, and spells don't damage followers in combat. Out of combat, they still do, I believe. The book is Winds of Change.

Also, the mod Amazing Follower Tweaks has a "followers can't die" setting.

I have the legendary edition of the game so yes. Where do I get this 'black book'?

There's several. IIRC, that one is inside the barrow at the bottom of the mine in Raven Rock.

That quest can be difficult at a low level. The suggested level is 30, but can probably be done a bit earlier. I recommend bringing a follower or two if you are below that.

Here's the wiki page on that quest. They usually have some good walkthrough advice, insight, and bug fixes here.

Also, when you get to Solstheim, do not go to sleep.
Hi, you have that mod that works well for me :)
