[07/23/2014 - 07:23:41PM] Saving game...
[07/23/2014 - 07:23:41PM] VM is thawing...

That 1 line tells us very little. If this is about PreadcotrScript papyrus spam, then it was fixed in Unoffical Skyrim Patch.

Download and install patches for Skyrim and each DLC you might have. They are liste at this page. Using Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer is recommended.

Unofficial Skyrim Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/?

Run LOOT after installing patches, to set your load order. Run it after each time you install new mods or update old ones.

If you are not going to include mods in to your game, then you can set load order manually trough NMM Plugins view or default Skyrim launcher's Data Files view. Proper load order is presented at the page I linked above. You will have to make sure that lod order stays in correct order, when you update patches to their next versions.

Usually this problem is caused by having something in your inventory that the game doesn't like. If might be a modded in item or something that has a corrupted file.

You can try this and see the RefId numbers for the items in your inventory, then remove questionable items with the remove command. Remember that DLC items require a two digit prefix which corresponds with the Mod or DLC's location in your load order.

player.showinventory

player.removeitem 000669A5 5 will remove five leeks from your player's inventory

Or remove everything by using this command.

player.removeallitems

If the problem is a corrupted file you should verify the integrity of the game cache.

To my understanding, as I said above, this is included in Unofficial Skyrim Patch.

"The USKP script won't fix errors on mods that add their own predators and override vanilla ones. On the other hand my script fix doesn't care if the predators are vanilla or not but will it will reduce the log spam by about 95%. So try either fix and see which one works best for you."

(WTF Steam unsubscribed me from this thread?)

Comes a bit late, because I just saw this, but thanks for that. I had not thought of predator scripts from mods.
I've tried using the 2 mods and the overide and starting several new games but it still hasn't worked...

I appear to have fixed the problem by deleating the skyrim.ini and the skyrimpref.ini files in the skyrim folder in my games, and then launching the game to reinstall the folder (though I did start a new game where I will be going a thief/assassin which may of done something too).
