what's the problem exactly? is it graphical issue? or is it a script issue?

I've just installed skyrim on my new pc and is just kicking me out from the game...I don't know if is related or not

did you try verifying cache?

I don't know how to do that, any help? :P

Hi! In order to troubleshoot we'll need more information. soad66 (love System of a Down, btw!), by "game" do you mean the launcher (the menu with the trees and mountains behind it) or the actual game (with the Skyrim logo and various play options).

Have you played this game before and are you subscribed to any Workshop mods?

EDIT: Also, chaotic brought up something important that I forgot to bring up. Right click on Skyrim in your Steam LIbrary and hit "Properties", then go to "Local Files" and "Verify Game Cache".

have you try running LOOT or verify cache? or running the game on low graphics?

Sierra, do you have any mods that automatically installed with this Skyrim install?

EDIT: If you do have any workshop mods that were enabled, there's no need to unsubscribe. You can just uncheck them in the launcher under "Data files" for reenabling later.

whats loot? and not at the moment why?
chaotic_mayhem Jul 23 @ 11:10pm
or if your paranoid just tick one mod at a time (if you have mods installed that is) and go back and forth between the desktop and the game itself and keep on ticking mods one at a time till the game specfically crashes on you

Loot is a load order modifier. It aims to place your third party plugins where they are best fit and it can help with several things.

EDIT: haha Chaotic we seem to be answering at the same-ish time.

I have the same issue. From working game to non working game. I think it is some issue whith the latest update of steam.
Try to turn off Steam Overlay. It seems to help.
