Roleplaying advice needed
I'm playing as a traveling bard going from tavern to tavern to earn gold. I am going to need an escort soon. I will be using Amazing Follower Tweaks to acquire an escort.
My question is how much should i be paying this escort on a daily basis?
I was thinking flat out 5 gold every day based on what the Play as a Bard mod gives for performing. At some point I should start doing favors for people as well. Should I share the gold found with my escort/follower or pay a flat rate and how much would that be for dungeon diving?

My plan is to also earn gold by picking flowers and such to make potions but also to hunt and fish when I have the time or if I chose to rest my musical skills.Currently I am using the mods:
Fishing
Camping
Play as a Bard

Any other immersive mods or ideas to roleplay this toon would be appreciated. Keep in mind I am a milk drinker so Frostfall and Ineed are most likely too hard core for my tastes.

Thanks in advance.

Nonono. Ineed isnt difficult. Considering the amount of food EVERYWHERE. Besides, gives you a reason to fish doesnt it.
You're already camping, so add frostfall. I think its a very well made mod. And you can tweak it so cold wont kill you or affect you much at all.
Hunterborn I think is ok, I never tried it though.

As for sharing that depends on how nice/greedy your character is. And how friendly he/she is with your follower.
I'm gonna say Supreme Storms since you're going to be travelling a lot, and it makes rain/snow a lot more interesting/immersive.

If you're travelling at night, I recommend lanterns of skyrim for cities and villages.

OMG I dont like the normal snow storms, I would hate these one. the rain storms look awesome though. Some day i will again play a hardcore hate this F'n game playthrough. It may make it into my order just for the snow storms. thanks
Haha yeah the snow storms can be annoying, but that's why It's meant for you to find shelter for the duration of the snow storm, which is why http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52612/?, is another recommendation you might find interesting. The rain storms from Supreme Storms are perfect though imo.
Maybe pay your escort 5 septims flat along with food. Use courage and heal other to keep your escort alive and powerfull. Your emergency weapon should be Absorb Health/Stamina/Magic or freeze effect to Nerf your enemy.

I dont plan on it but my next play will need somehow to move around and locate cities and enter them with alternate access mod to complete thieves and DB quests. He will stay off the roads but this way he could see where he is going as i also plan on finding a mod to turn off the map markers on the compass.
Along with this build he won't ever be fast traveling so he will need some way to keep his bearings
Ihud to get rid of the compass :D

yup or hardcore compass looking at both right now. thanks
i would suggest something completly awkward ands tupid funny at teh same time, disable the compass and NEVER look att he map, grab a sword throw it down and the tip of the blade is where north is. only peopel who actually lived the evolution of mmorpgs will understand thsi one xD

You could pay your escort whatever daily food + inn cost is in your game, plus a percentage gained through your adventuring.
Try giving Camping Kit Of The Northern Ranger a try if you're up for camping. It gives you a nice little internal tent space that has up to two bedrolls, as well as a cooking pit/alchemy lab, all while being in a nice little portable package.
