Remastered Skyrim
Hi,

I heard Skyrim will have better graphisms soon.

Will it be possible to avoid the update ? I don't think that my PC will support this.

Thanks

It will be a seperate entry in your library, not an update. I wont be able to handle it either. :-/

It's not really the graphics that will be improved, there will just be more lighting options. It may not be any more performance heavy than the original. It will be using the same game engine as Fallout 4, so that would be a good indicator as to whether you can run it or not. Just look at the specs for that game and compare it your system.

SE has been 64 bit, so mods can use all RAM nod only 4GB. Just try it after release and cheek how working

I think your good with any graphics card higher than at least a gtx 960 or 970 not sure for amd but its mainly just graphical changes

At any rate, it will a completely separate game. So if your machine can't handle it you'll still have the original version to play with. It won't over write that one at all.

...hope it gives us moar modding features like being able to add new weapon types.

I'm gonna avoid it for a few months cause I play with over 140 mod files, most of which need stuff like skse, fnis, and skyui, and are sorted in MO.

Simple answer: If you have a 64bit OS. It will work.

I doubt it very much. It's essentially going to be the same game, just with better lighting due to it's use of DirectX 11, and better memory management and performance because of the 64 bit architecture. There might be some bug fixes as well, but that hasn't been mentioned as of yet.

Well that's certainly not true. If his video card can't handle the improved graphics, then it may not work. At least not very well. A computer's performance is more than just the OS.

It's not an DLC. It's a separate remastered version of Skyrim, with all DLCs integrated.
