DON'T DESTROY THE DARK BROTHERHOOD!!!
For any of you guys playing this game for the first (and last) time due to time constraints, i.e. a single playthrough, you guys have no idea what you are missing out on if you do not join the Dark Brotherhood. I am serious. Enjoy ripping away a whole good chunk of the game you paid for if you decide to not indulge yourself in its questline. I was foolish enough to destroy them and only later check if they had a nice questline in the wiki.

You mean the weakest Brotherhood yet?
One that's not nearly as good as Oblivion or Morrowind's versions?

IDGAF.

Agreed.
Dark Brotherhood Forever!

Btw imo the Dark Brotherhood and it's(especially) quests were a lot better in Oblivion.
My favorite one was when you had to kill everyone in the house, while they were searching a big treasue that didnt existed.

Overall, i enjoyed Oblivion's DB a lot more and it had actual DB feel, meanwhile in Skyrim its like theyre just mercenaries/hitmans for hire .

That quest is the pinnacle achievement for any quest in TES history.
Screw the Skyrim Dark brotherhood. Oblivion's was much better...like MUCH better. for one it was a CHALLENGE to join it. you had to kill an NPC, and there isn't a single NPC that can die from looking at them the wrong way.

You're focusing on the wrong thing.
They're both equally easy to get into, but Oblivion had a much, much better story. As well as better missions.

Silver, If people wish to wiki the DB questline, they'll find out that money value wise the kill quests you get from db can roughly add up to 5k I think it is m where doing the destroy the db will get 2k, but It is the people's choice how they want to play, I for one killed whats her name , after she grabbed me, for her Nice Liite dagger of woe with health absorb, and her full armor, I had done the quest previously once not right to the end, but I didnt like having to kill certain npc's for what reason ?? none, just because they a contract, and that god annoying cicero, I killed Him on the road with out a bounty, ( 3 rewinds to get it ) , just so my mannequin could wear his armor, then only to resurrect for quest from the farm that see's cicero go to jail for accused stealing,

so you see silver People DO have an idea, if they dont a simple wiki seach will help the other wise

No, but its the only way to actually see Titus Mede II as an NPC in person.

People who use a wiki to figure out anything that's not bugged (or purposefully obtuse as ♥♥♥♥, like certain covenants in Dark Souls) should not be playing RPG's of any kind.

The Dark Brotherhood of Skyrim under Astrid, is a ROGUE agency

What the, Excuse me Buttslamming genie !!!! , But why shouldnt people Be Playing rpg games Just Because they might use wiki sometimes, who the hell are you to say who should or shouldnt be playing what games , =_=
Wiki's are partly why theyre there, for people to contribute solutions to games theyre ve found for other who might get stuck and no matter what they tried in game , couldnt hand there quest in , or get past a certain part,

Because one of the biggest joys in games, and ESPECIALLY RPG's is figuring out things on your own.
Guides, help forums, and the sort are a ♥♥♥♥ing blight on RPG's. They make sense for something like Counter-Strike, where you get guides for competitive play, or like I said for things that would be nigh-impossible to figure out on your own, but for 90% of everything else, they're just a handholding mechanism for lazy nimrods who would rather get everything handed to them on a silver platter for some shallow sense of accomplishment instead of a fulfilling experience.
It's the same mentality that's landed the game industry where it is right now; focusing on nickle and diming, carrot on a sticking, and quick, easy games for that same shallow sense of accomplishment.
It's an embarassment, it's disgusting, and anyone who relies on stuff like that or falls into these categories either willingly or through simple ignorance should be publically whipped.

maybe its because people tend to grow up and become "fething casuals" not because they choose to, but because real life takes its toll. Not all of us are basement dwellers with 50 hours of spare time to kill each week.

That's a bad, lame excuse. If you don't have enough time, then you'll just take longer to get through things through a natural method.
And besides, by the time people get a life, they should have played enough to be able to get through most things just through instinct.
Well, if they're near my age. Kids nowadays are ♥♥♥♥ed and wont have a single clue because all of the games are shallow pieces of ♥♥♥♥ that doesn't challenge them in any way.

Games should "offer" and experience, not "give" an experience.

I'll say me and my friend Vince are the only ones I know that are RPG players. And we are both much better at figuring out challenges and solutions to things than our friends. I'll admit I've had to use a wiki or two before but that was only after being stuck for a day and not being able to figure out what to do period. While I won't say casual gamers are pieces of ♥♥♥♥ I will say that casual gamers having the majority now is really hurting us who enjoy a true RPG experience.
