What new main menu?

I don't know what mods you have installed, how you installed them or what they might have overwritten.

Let's try the following.

Open Skyrim Launcher.
- Check the Data Files view
- Are there any third party files selected/unselected?

Run TES5Edit to see, if there is some data missing from your game.
- Just open it. Select everything from the list it opens.
- Click "OK" and let it run. It will stop and inform you, if it finds out that required file is missing.
- Important! Unless otherwise instructed, always close TES5Edit trough red X from up right corner. Do not allow it to save anything, unless specially instructed otherwise.

I don't use nexus at all, only mods i find through Steam Workshop. I just subscribe to them.

That does not make any valid difference. Mods will act the same, despite where you got them. Workshop users only have another way to manage their mods than Nexus people have.

Edit: In case I misunderstood you there: TES5Edit is not a mod. It is a widely used tool. Many Workshop users are using this tool to clean their master files, even if they would not download other mods from Nexus - except (of course) unofficial patches.

I think I fied it, there was a mod I subscribed to a while back and i'm not really sure if i ever played the game since I installed it so I uninstalled it and the game seems to be working fine now. Thank you everyone for trying to help me, I really appreciate it.

That makies sense. I was kind of thinking that you either had something lingering around, or something had became to rely on a currently missing file. TES5Edit would have told that, but I am glad you found it out on your own. Less stuff to worry, eh?

I have one suggestion, if you do not mind? We are using application called LOOT to sort our load orders, when using mods. I strongly suggest using it, if you install any mods.

Run it after installing new mods or updating them. In case you ever experience another Crash to Desktop after bethesda logo, run LOOT and check the number of Errors from it's Summary view and details behind Details view. Those errors would be the ones crashing your game.

This application is not from Nexus, so you don't have to sign in to anywhere. :)

I have a HP TouchSmart pc with intel core proccessor, which LOOT should I install LOOT.Archive.7z or LOOT.Installer.exe?

I think you are better with installer file.

Archives are mostly peoples who manage their files with a bit more advanced tools.

I can't remember what it was called but I saw that it had a Sword in a Hill, I only had a small glimpse before it shut down.
I'll try TES5EDIT (since I started to use Nexus) to see if it will find anything.

I honestly have no clue. Sorry.

You might wish to try LOOT and/or TES5Edit as well. If game files are corrupted, then you might have to verify the integrity of game cache.

@Corona Soul: is it okay, if we use this thread for this? We usually ask peoples with other probelms to create their own posts, but it is your thread. You can unsubscribe from it, if announchement window is annoying, or just tell us to move elswhere. :)
