Deleting a mod follower that you're married to.

If I delete a mod follower that I'm married to, is that instant divorce, so that I can then marry a different mod follower, or will I still be seen by the game as "married", just without a spouse? Thanks in advance for any response.

Well first off id say its most likely to just crash your game given how skyrim is with trying to load deleted data, and even if it doesnt, it probably will still see you as married even if you don't have the npc in any more at a guess.

Correct as far as I know - once you have completed the marriage quest then the game will think you as married, unless you reset the marriage quest stage to beginning and remove yourself from marriage faction with a mod or console.
