Yes, personally I find Oblivion to be the weakest of the series.

I definitely prefer Skyrim and Morrowind over Oblivion.

That's fine, you are entitled to your opinion. You don't need to justify it, even if you are in the minority.

oblivion was cool. Just super repetitive. And like, WAY too colorful lol. I love oblivion but it's definitely the weakest of the 3 latest games

Each of the games has pros and cons!
They all have great funny moments, Fantastic new areas to explore and each was better than the previous with much better graphics and different game play decisions!
I loved Oblivion ... And before that when I played Morrowind I got into the story there and Loved playing it! .. but to go back to Morrowind is really dated now .. as is Oblivion in comparison to Skyrim! I just don't think comparing the games is valid IMO as each was a brilliant game at the Time
For me Skyrim was the first game that I have modded so It has a special significance.... not sure that I want to play the previous Games again ... although some of the overhauls look fantastic! It is amazing what our modders can do!
We should all thank them a lot more than we do!

Skyrim and Oblivion are about equal to me. The reason Skyrim edges a bit past Oblivion is due to the leveling system.

The Oblivion one was convoluted and I never felt I could just play it. It took me two weeks of grinding and min-maxing to max out my stats, then I felt I could play with no worries. I enjoyed it after that, but if I play now, I use the console commands to max the stats.

The Skyrim on is more strait forward and fun. I level skills as I play and level up after a time. I don't feel like I will mess my character up by not using X skill to raise Z stat.

Other then that, I enjoyed them both after I started playing. The rest balanced out through the games.

It's your opinion, man, no reason you need to defend yourself (although not sure why you posted in the Skyrim forum :-p )
Personally, I do kind of miss the world of Oblivion (ie Cyrrodil). It sort of felt like more of a generic fantasy setting, but the towns had a grander feeling. The harsh, snowy climate of Skyrim can get kind of old. Oblivion felt a little more expansive too.
That said, Skyrim's combat and overall gameplay just feel so much slicker to me, not to mention the graphics. In the end, that wins it for me.

I prefer skyrim, much more casual to play and it gets the atmosphere and architecture spot on. ESPECIALY if you mod the visuals.

No, you are not the only one, i personally think skyrim is the worst TES game.

Modded Skyrim isn't bad especially if you ignore the main quest/turn off fast travel/etc.

Same with Oblivion.

Haven't needed any mods in Morrowind. Both Skyrim and Oblivion are abit lite compared to Morrowind.

Oblivion still felt like an rpg to me, unlike Skyrim. Removing complexity and good questlines really kills Skyrim as an rpg. Oblivion still had a lot of problems though. Art direction, voice acting, removal of spears, skills, equip slots, etc.

I enjoyed oblivion alot but Skyrim is far better. Morrowwind is supposed to be the best of the bunch but by the time I played it it looked so ugly and the interface was horrible.

Although I do wish the city dwellers would actually fix the city walls buildings and roads so it doesnt look like the entire population lives in ruins

But the interface of Morrowind is miles beyond the vanilla interface of both Oblivion and Skyrim :S
