NMM won't let me uncheck mods forever? How do I fix this?

I have Moonlight Tales and Werewolf Mastery(MT compatible). The installation says that after installing MT I need to install WM and override and UNCHECK Moonlight Tales. Now if I attempt to do it, each time I open NMM Moonlight Tales is checked. Same goes for Skyrim Launcher.

Shall I mark something as read only or what do I do to forbid NMM from checking the unchecked? And why the hell does NMM sort my mods?

Maybe try setting getting it where you want it and saving the plugins? I remember you could save them as a backup or something.
