Persistant crashes won't stop no matter what, help? [Fixed]
Hi there, I am a long time Skyrim player and have over the years encountered multiple annoying little bugs and ctd's in my playtime. But never has it been this bad..

Let me start off by saying I have about 190 mods installed at this very moment. 212 in total whereof 22 are not installed.

I use NMM to organise my mods, to keep my mods up to date (which they are). All of my mods are and main files are cleaned with Tes5Edit on a basis that BOSS (program) sees fit.

In other words I try to keep all of my stuff up to date, clean and safe using multiple verified programs as listed above. According to BOSS and Wrye Bash I have no mods that conflict with each other (ofc I also pay special attention to that when installing my mods). (later I replaced BOSS with LOOT)

Though I am starting to think that that might be a faulty program misleading me there because since the addition of about 90 mods lately (again cleaned and checked as above) bringing me to the current 190 mods. I started having more and more crashes that don't explain themselves at all.

No I do not have infinite loading times, my vram is not taking too much because I have the skse log to prove that I use 512 - 256 on 1 - 2 and my log shows none over 350 whilst crashed.

I am at a total loss right now as I have no further idea how to stop this from happening.

If anyone has any idea, tip or would like to think along side me. Please do. Any and all help is appreciated, though do keep in mind that I have tried a lot already (as shown above).
I run an:
i7, Windows 7 64 bit with 8 gigs of ram. My videocard is also more than capable.
(for those wondering)

First things first.

BOSS is outdated. We have moved to it's successor LOOT. It does not hurt to use up-to-date application to set your load order and see if it does any difference.

LOOT

You use TES5Edit to clean your mods. In the mod page itself it is mentioned if it should be done so. Not everything should be cleaned.
Just a suggestion. It might not have anything to do with your problem though.

Yes some mods say they should not be cleaned, like a horse armor mod I recently found. Therefor those mods are not cleaned. Thank you for your input though.

You refering to MemoryBlocksLog? Man Skyrim is a crazy beast, I have kind of the same deal at times. They are using the same engine since Morrowind so pretty much Bethesda fashion (all their games have to be tweaked)

Yes I am @House Full of Bullets.
But my crashes make sure I cannot play for more than 5 minutes, and sometimes less than 1. It is unplayable in it's current state (my current state that is)

Wow there are times i can play for 5 hours and others 5 minutes and get a crash. Has to be a mod or dunno your situation totally but wish I could help. Maybe your tweaks aren't set right *shrug*

I feel you man.. Well you'd say so yes. But unchecking mods doesn't seem to work either. Nor going back to a state where I had the same mods as before where I crashed way less.. It may have something to do with mods not uninstalling correctly but it keeps telling me that it's all good, no messages/errors and those mods are not loaded at all. Do you know of any 'tweaks' that could help?

Well not off hand since I don't know your situation. As long as you've cleaned your masters and use LOOT. Some ppl use this guide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50244/? worth a look.

Thank you I will certainly look into it.

They say Updating your mods in a middle of a Playthrough is questionable. I do it and I think I am starting to see the effects=lvl 63 SkyRE char. BUT the effects is DCO or DD will spawn a dragon in a Safe Zone. That's it so far though :P
This Link I posted is STEP's Troubleshooting Guide.

Have yea Enabled Papyrus Logs and see what the last few entries say?

STEP also has a Great Guide for Setting up Skyrim the Best way=IMO :D and from experience its the Best Guide I have found.

I will check that one out thank you! I am currently on this char lvl 92 almost 93 so ye kinda midway then but that's fine for me. I don't mind starting over if I keep my mods. I don't know any 'papyrus logs' but I do have mem logs on my skse and I am sure they aren't vram crashes due to the logs. If that is what you mean.

That's a real good tip already incorporated in the firsts setps of the tutorial link bellow
but unfortunately I really think SilverShadow will have to do a fresh install from the beginning soon or later following the steps described in http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56894/?
Keep all your favorite modds compressed files. The NMM has a specific directory containing all zipped modds installed. And install ENBoost (note I said ENBoost, not a ENB profile) setup according to the capacity of your graphics card. Establish a vanilla installation of Skyrim and putting the required extenders like SKSE, TES5Edit etc. Therefore you will be ready to reinstall all your favorite modds using new MO with LOOT embed.

@Aryel I am afraid it will get down to that. And thank you, I think I will but I am not very mod sevy. And I am afraid that even doing so (taking me a full day) will probably result in the same crashes after a while.. I mean why would the mods work now when they didn't before. I simply do not know, if any of you do please enlighten me. I crave for it xD

ps: Oh Gopher worked on that, then it's probably solid. Doing that tomorrow I think.
