help game crash
I installed skyrim yesterday, got mods up and a enb and at first it was crashing (if i removed the d3d9.dll file it would work) and said that d3d3x(...).dll is not found in my system so i downloaded directx and it worked..for one day :?
today i played a bit in the morining and after some time i had to restart my computer for a windows update or something...and now i have the same problem. I start the game and it crashes, not even showing me the bethesda logo or anything....and if i remove the dll file it works, but of course it looks a bit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :))

help :D

What ENB do you have installed ?
It might be the one wich needs (explicite) the d3d9 (i had the same problems to).
Uninstall it and, if needed, delete all the asociated components manualy.
Restart your PC, play the game w/out the mod, safe one in the place you are, then go in another town/village and safe again.
Its important to have at least two "clean" save game.
Turn "auto_save_every_x_minutes OFF.
Now go in another safe place and make a new save, load the following plugins one_by_one.
After every new plugin installation, go in game, change your position (travell in another town) and make a new save.
So you will allways can load the previous save (functionable save).

Try the following plugins (in this order) :
Skyrim.esm
Update.esm
Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp
Dawnguard.esm (optional)
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp (optional)
HearthFires.esm (optional)
Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp (optional)
Dragonborn.esm )optional)
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp (optional)
HighResTexturePack01/02/03.esp
Unofficial High Ressolution Patch.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel.esm
CoT-WeatherPatch.esp
EnhancedLightsandFX.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel-Dragonborn-Patch.esp (optional ... if you have Dragonborn)
CoT-WeatherPatch_DB.esp (optional)
SkyUI.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel-Nights-Level-1.esp
CoT-WeatherPatch_NL_1.esp
AOS.esp
AOS2_CoT3_1_patch.esp
ClimatesOfTamriel-Dawnguard-Patch.esp (optional)
ClimatesOfTamriel-Sound.esp
ELFXEnhancer.esp
ELFXExterior.esp
ELFX-Dragonborn.esp (optional)
ELFX-Dawnguard.esp (optional)
Purewaters.esp
WATER.esp
WATERPlants.esp
Footprints.esp
Footprints-Ash,esp
SplashOfRain.esp
WATER DB Waves.esp (optional: you need Dragonborn)
WATER DG.esp (optional: you need Dawnguard)
WetandCold.esp
WetandCold-Ashes.esp
AOS2_WetandColdPatch.esp
SMIM.esp (+all the patches)
iHUD.esp
AOualityMap.esp
...

Run LOOT and let the prog make some changes (if) in the load order.
Please dont load all of them at once and start the game.
Better is one_by_one and everytime go in game and make a new save.
So, after about half an hour, you will have a complete new experience with Skyrim ... awesome.

My Skyrim runs verry well and stable with those plugins combination (i have a lot of other plugins/mods running to, but those i listed are for changing the visual effects of the landscape/weather/audio/... .
I will try some more in aditional to see how they work together.
Then, perhaps, i will try a whole_in_one plugin with all those on running.

Have fun

^ He uses the Project ENB profile, that does use the .dll. The modder actually suggests using the InjectorVersion which doesn't use the .dll. Have you tried it?
