Buy Legendary Edition. You will get both and usually cheaper than 30$.

Skyrim is about the Nords and the DRAGONBORN-you are the Dragonborn, why wouldn't you want to play the Dragonborn DLC

Dragonborn, goddamit. It's better than Dawnguard.

Dragonborn for sure.

If you can only get one, Dragonborn has a lot more content than Dawnguard.

As it's actually more to do with Dunmer than Nords? And the DLC title doesn't refer to the player character?

Both are good but I do agree Dragonborn is the better of the two and like any Bethesda DLC adds multiple game-breaking items and powers.

Dragonborn is far better than Dawnguard in my opinion.

buy cs go or tf2 keys and u can get skyrim legendary for 5 keys which is 15 bucks

Legendary edition would be the way to go, definately. But if you have to pick only one, then I'd say Dawnguard. They are both great DLCs, but they are different. Dragonborn has more content and is like a mini-Skyrim with dungeons and quests not related to the main quest of the DLC, while Dawnguard has a much better story and really takes you on an adventure to fascinating places. You can also say DB is like spices to mix with the main meal while DG is like a dessert, mostly separated from the main meal.

I prefer Dawnguard. It’s in many ways integrated into the main game, which means more Skyrim. Dragonborn offers more unique content, but I felt the quality wasn’t as good as the regular game.

Honestly, I hated Dawnguard, solely because of all the vampire attacks. I had so many NPCs get killed - either by the vampires or by getting in between my sword swings and the vampires. I even picked up the mod that's supposed to make the villagers run away, but it doesn't seem to help.

Perhaps your load order is bad, because When Vampires Attack works well for me. Do you manage your load order with LOOT?

Anyway, this mod might be more to your liking, if you can't get the previous one to work properly.

I have the same question. I'm a bit worried about dragonborn as sometimes you don't what too much new content when I haven't done everything in regular skyrim. Plus God Damn Armored Trolls are cool.

Dawn guard has it's moments, but Dragonborn gives you whole new lands to explore.
