How do I alocate RAM to optimize computer capability for skyrim?
I've alocated RAM for TF2, but I don't know how to do it for Skyrim. I have 4 gigs of RAM and intel core i3 processor.

If it was me, I'd just buy some upgraded RAM. My current laptop had the same hardware as you listed above, but I decided to buy 8 GB (was $70 at Best Buy) to increase speed and assist the integrated graphics card (it uses some of the normal RAM to supplement what capacity it has).

I'm pretty sure Skyrim crashes at 3gb due to a limitation of the game engine. As long as you can keep from using 1gb to run programs in the background, 4gb should be more than enough.
