But it seems all good Follower Overhauls are at Nexus (UFO / EFF / AFT - Personally I use EFF).
I'm actually using that mod for my game and have experienced no major problems with it. The only issue I noticed while playing today was that three modded followers I had didn't follow me right away. It took a little bit of time and some fast traveling along with entering a few interiors, but they soon showed up and followed me right to Castle Volkihar to defeat Harkon with the Dawnguard. They've been so helpful I've actually decided to take them with me when I go to Soltheim for the Dragonborn main quest and exploration of Solstheim.
i have had this mod for a long time and i only had one issue with it before so just because you see some bad comments doesnt make it 100% bad . Some may have conflicting mods or something which is why they write a bad comment . The one that was conflicting with my download MFL was the follower/companion mod called riften misfits that made one of my characters become unresponsive and dialog no longer functioned . MFL worked flawless before i installed that follower mod so i knew what was going on so once i removed that riften misfits mod it was back to normal. A nice perk is you can have up to 7 followers iirc with this mod and you can summon all them if you lose track of them/get them in one place .
Multiple Followers Lite is the one I'm using.
Indeed, that's why it's a good mod since you can form a small militia/faction of your own that you can take anywhere provided the followers you have are navmeshed properly.
Navmeshing basically means a location or follower is set to be properly coordinated with each other so the latter can go to certain places. If the follower has trouble pathfinding, it must be due to an issue with navmeshing which could make followers not function effectively in some places.
That said, it took a hell of a lot of trial and error to get my game as stable as it is with so many mods. I have no idea what mods you plan on using and the fact that you aren't using the Nexus yet tells me you might run into a problem or two.
