Enchanting Problem
I'm trying to enchant some armor, but it doesn't show up in the Items menu on the enchanting table. Only weapons. Could this be because of a mod? (I Have a good amount of mods added to the game, but none that would have to do with enchanting)

Odd. If an piece of equipment cannot be given a specific enchantment, it's just grayed out on the list and vice versa with enchantments.

What armor are you trying to enchant and with what enchantment?

I just have to ask to make sure, the armor you want to enchant isn't already enchanted, right? And it's not a quest item?

I'm using Hothtrooper44's Immersive armors mod, so it's ebony mage light robes. I was able to enchant the hood, but nothing else works. I'm trying to enchant it with either increased magika, sneak, or archery

I don't have that mod so I'm afraid I can't help further. You can wait for people to chime in here or better yet, post on the Immersive Armor modpage. You should also check their FAQs if you haven't done so already.

you need to learn the enchantment first

He knows the enchantment. He said he was already able to enchant the hood and besides, the issue is the armor itself will not appear on the list of items to enchant.

Did that armor is a vanilla one or a mod one? (edit: sorry, I don't see his anwser)
Did had the "magic" icone on it? (some mod item had no real effect but still had
the magic icone)

If it is a mod item, the creator may have forgotten to put it in the list of enchantable items.

Please read his response, it's part of Immersive Armors.

no, thats the thing...I once had a ring that would increase my archery skill and I broke it to learn the enchantment, thinking I could now enchant my helmet, amulet, armor, gauntlets and boots to become a super badass archer, but I couldnt.

It's because that enchantment can't be put on a chestpiece.

It can. The problem is, is that the item doesn't show up in the "Items" Menu in general

Al items have an associated keyword attched to them to determine what enchantments can be placed. Your robe seems an entirely new item, not found in vanilla Skyrim. If that is the case, the creator may have forgotten to add it. Try contacting him on his modpage.
