Getting to Level 248 LEGIT for all perks
Just passed level 200 yesterday and ive been grinding forever.
Im on my only save i used from day 1 Skyrim 11.11.11.

I know im a little show off but having all perks be legendary at least once and getting there legit is kinda a proud thing for me, no mods or cheats or other rubbish.

I had more fun doing new characters and trying to play different
kind of way but... .... well done, I guess. That probably need a lot
of time...

You certainly seem to have the bit between your teeth so, respect, congrats etc. but I too went with many play-throughs instead. According to my console named saves I haven't been past lvl 86 - Daedricmage86. Q: What are you going to do when you, finally, hit level 248? :-)

I see the appeal most players have for restarting, but i generally just watched YouTube 'Let's Plays' for that fix.

It's so sweet have enough magicka already to use a good 8x Master spells without having to use potions. And having the extra stamina means i can carry S**T loads of items and slow-time zoom-in with a bow for AGES before it empties my bar. And over 1000 health means i fight different now i'm alot more cocky,

When i hit level 248 i think i'll maybe do a condensed video of using all the powers to take down dragons and giants maybe? I dunno really tbh, any ideas?

Start again and enjoy the thrill of "not" feeling the well earned cockiness? I bet you've forgotten how, and when, to run away from trouble - lol :D

That's true i always hear a group of Bandits on will shouts "You won't leave Skyrim alive!" and a second later two of his buddies are running away saying "I submit", i have to use 'Courage' just for a proper fight.

Maybe i will, due to starting the save Day one i have alot of bugs, one prevented me getting one of only two achievements i need the Daedric Artifacts.

That made me laugh :D

I never got that first full play-through either. It seemed that using TCL to get unstuck from icky graphics prevented it. With my next character I reverted to an earlier save when I became stuck and the achievement popped when it was supposed to. Good luck, Tundra. :-)

When you mean grinding, do you mean actually playing around doing, dunno, radiant quests perhaps? Or grinding as in something like standing in the middle of town and casting detect life?

I see you have 546 hours of playtime. Is all that with just one character? @_@

Well i only have radiant quests left as ive done every scripted quest i can find (and boy have i spent time searching and talking to people in vain...)

Yeah, i've been playing on Legendary difficulty since it was released so dragons take a load of arrows bringing down. Most skill trees ive got to 100 and made legendary.

But its harder and harder to level up, and casting detect life et all wasnt the quickest so i let the powerful pirate captain in the north of Solsteim whack the heck out of my sheild as i cast Grand Healing to level up fast.

If you look in that picture the "66" under block means i got it to 100 then reset it and then got it to 100 66 times.

Every other perk levels up just through doing stuff :)

Blocking and Armor are quite easy to level up just by letting a giant hit you.
Zefram Cochrane Aug 6, 2014 @ 4:21am
well done, I've never quite had the courage to go legendary on any of my skills yet the thought of going back to 15 and no perks puts me off...

...the highest I've ever heard of anyone going is 241 or thereabouts it takes forever and a day to even level a little by that point, kill hundreds of enemies and you barely move at all. But good luck anyway I guess
Panda Aug 6, 2014 @ 4:32am
Killing stuff isn't the most efficient way of doing it because, well, you run out of stuff to kill and you waste time running around to find even more stuff to kill. Like Grathagis said, mobbing a few giants and mammoths from a giant camp and letting them hit you for blocking and armor levels is a lot better. Or maybe, just one or two giants so you can get max HP regen enchanted gear and leave your game running while you watch HBO or something.

I did that but its so slow and they miss sometimes, the Pirate Captain hits fast with a power attack around every 5 strikes with a two handed greatsword, i can level up solely on BLOCK in 7 minutes now with a little healing.

That and its on a little island so he doesnt get stuck or we dont wander into a camp, its nice and isolated.

Did you use the Aetherial Crown to level or just use one standing stone?

With the crown you can use the Lover Stone and either the Mage, Warrior or Thief Stone combined with the sleeping bonus to gain skills 45% faster.

I got Enchanting to 100 in no time using the Mage stone, Lover Stone, and resting bonus while spamming enchant on the items I had stored from a few raids. I was really surprised that it went to 100 so fast.

I wish i did!

when i was playing the DLC i wasnt even thinking of going to 248 as it was capped before the "legendary" free update.

I got the silly staff that spawns Dwarven Spiders.

I know, bad decission...

I kinda wanna start again but dedicating at least 250+ hours around work and life again is too much.
