What is your favorite type of warrior?
What's your favorite warrior style? Are you the stealthy archer, the mage, the two-handed berserker, etc?

I personally love being a heavy armored archer. I mostly use archery, and when I need to I pull out a shield and one handed sword.

That build you mentioned is similar to one I have, but I'm going to focus on both Archery and One-Handed with Block in combat while in heavy armor and Restoration. It's pretty much what you might consider as the traditional warrior, which is probably the best build you can go for.

I hate using shields in this game. My favorite type is a Paladin type...One-Hander, Restoration spell in left hand, heavy armour.

Stealth Archer with light armour, I take out the majority of enemies before being detected, if there are any remaining I switch to dual wield/ shouts to dispatch the rest.

Yeah, I am trying to find a different build. Sick of going the same route all the time. I want to be a light armored archer that utilizes conjuration and illusion. Once I finish Companions quest, I am immediately crafting a set of Ancient Nord Armor, and switching to heavy armor. Ancient Nord Armor looks especially good in female characters like Aela.

Stealthly archer, or at least until I'm detected, after which its a matter of how fast I can fill 'em full of arrows before they reach me. Paralyze enchanted bow is enormously helpful if I get attacked en masse as half my enemies are on the floor at any one time.

I prefer the stealth builds as I have the skill to snipe from like 200 yards in the game. Then when inside mostly I'll single weirld a weapon ((with modded perks to make it more viable.))

First character in Skryim when released was my Orc Warrior -

One-handed
Block
Heavy Armor
Enchanting
Smithing

Being able to craft AND enchant your own items simply made him too OP'ed. My main weapon was the Mace of Molag Bal, however.

Conjuraration
2handed
Restoration
Block
Apparation
Light Armor

Glass Armor looks Extremely cool to me and It fits well with Conjured Weapons. I can Horde a Bunch of Junk with me.

My current character uses they tried and tested sword and board mixture, strangely enough its actually the first time I've ever used this style in all my time on Skyrim. My fav combat style though was my Khajiit guerilla fighter who attacked from range with his bow and a mixture of poisons, then if anyone was standing then he'd finish them with dual scimitars.

While it's true you can be whatever kind of warrior class you want in the Elder Scrolls universe, there aren't really that many variations of the build in other RPGs. The only classes I know of that are related to a pure warrior to some extent are the paladin, fighter, berserker, barbarian, knight, general, and hero (last two classes are specific to the Fire Emblem series). There are plenty of other variations if you plan to go hybrid with another specialization, such as combining the warrior with a mage to make a sort of battlemage. The same logic can be applied to magic and stealth as well since each also has a limited number of pure classes and several hybrids.
