Husband of my char disappeared

Iam playing a female character, and recently I married Farkas.
After marriage, I told him to go to my Windstad Manor.
He went there, and I found him.
I asked if "there's any work to be done", and he gave me a quest, he wanted to go with me to the tomb of Ysgramor, to cure his werewolf-ism, so I did that.
After he got cured, he said "I will stay here for a while, if you excuse me" (or something like that).

Then I told him to follow me, I gave him Ebony gear, and told him that we should split.
I went home to Windstad Manor.
I cannot find him since then.
I checked the tomb, Jorvaskr, all rooms in my home.
He's just nowhere to be found.

Iam not sure, but I think that he is invincible, so he couldn't die.
I tested it, smashed him with the dragonbone mace a few times. He falls down for a while, and stands up again, never dying.
I tested this BEFORE i went to the tomb to cure his werewolf-ism however.

Help guys!



EDIT: at the moment when I posted this thread I found him.
He was OUTSIDE of the house, a few tens of metres away, MINING CLAY. What the ♥♥♥♥♥?

If you have the Heartfire DLC, and own a piece of land, there should be an unlimited deposit of clay, where you can mine it. Also quarrified stone.

You only need clay for Hearthfire though
