The only glaring bonus to SE is that your mod limit is theoretically higher.
If you're planning on enjoying just what the developers made, refund your Standard Edition and get Special Edition.
Tip, don't waste your money on both, choose one or the other.
Well ive had standard edition for a long time now, so i doubt i could refund. I would like to mod a decent amount, as in more story/quests, graphics, etc. but idk how far i will go with it.
Take it from me: this guy summarized it perfectly.
LE is single-threaded and will run on a weaker gpu.
SE is multi-threaded and requires a better gpu.
SE won't have a full SKSE (script extender) release (used by the "good" mods) for another month or two.
LE has better setup and modding guides e.g. the S.T.E.P. guide.
