Old Skyrim or Special edition, hm?
I'm hyped for special edition and all, but old just has so much more to offer at the moment ;/

They say that will be the case for the next two months. That even the graphics if you heavily mod will be better with the old. Also no SKSE for two months. I saw this on Youtube so it could be wrong.

Old Skyrim will fade into obscurity in a couple of months. 64 bit support is HUGE for the modding community, but it will take time to realize it's potential.

How will it being 64 bit help molding the game? Does it mean bigger mods or prettier graphics?

32 bit can only address 4gb ram. 64 bit can address 8gb ram ( win 7 base and home ) and 192gb ram with pro, enterprise, and prof. W10 is even better - Home is 128gb and Pro etc. 512gb. So, hopefully, no more game closing when you exceed your system ram. That's going to be magic!

Yep, it's certainly going to remove the current restraints and limitations our excellent mod creators have been working with.

The old one will stay around but the players will be fewer. I like the new version but the women are so ugly. Also the restraint against acheivments if you use mods will keep the old one alive.

Ugly when compared to modded or ugly ugly? I've always found Lydia to be easy on the eyes than Hulda, etc.

This one is funny: there is a mod that can fix that.

The mod might fix it but that should not be there in the first place. Steam forgets who buys their games.

The mod thing isn't from Steam's end, it's from Skyrim SE's end (Unless I'm mistaken).

I don't think they've given an official explanation as to why but from what I've read it's because in consoles like the Xbox, achievement gives the user points which can be used to buy stuff and I think the worry from Microsoft is that Xbox users can just use mods to get free money.
