Kill command doesn't work?

Okay, so I've gotten to a point where I can't get past because the game crashes because a necromancer spawns things... like it literally crashes right after he spawns skeletons. I don't know how to fix the freeze itself but I tried to get around by force killing the necromancer with the kill command but even that doesn't work. Like... I select him while in the console, then type "kill". Nothing happens. He doesn't die... Help...?

Test Target RefID: Try a benign command, like showinventory or openactorcontainer 1. If it don't open or show contents, then it is the wrong ID. I've seen it quite often.

Yeah nothing is working.

Nevermind. Kill command does work, but I was at a distance so it would not select him, so I had to go into free cam mode and kill him from there.
