Windows Restore point
So my Windows 10 kinda crashed and now I can't log in. It just loads for forever after I enter my password. To fix this I wanted to do a system restore to previous date. But does this also delete the saves in Skyrim, or any game for that matter? Or are they already stored in the cloud?

Thanks

No, Windows restore only affects Windows system files, not things stored in My Documents, like saves.

Your most recent save will be in the cloud. I moved to a completely new computer recently and was able to pick up right where I left off after installing the game.

And what about uplay games? Does that work the same way? I know I know. I shouldn't talk about uplay.

It depends on the specific game in concern. Most games these days stick their saves somewhere into your Windows user profile, which should indeed be left alone if you go back to a restore point. Some games - older ones in particular - try to put save files directly into your Program Files directory, where they would potentially be reverted or removed altogether during a restore.
