Do Legendary Edition CD codes still work?
I bought the Legendary Edition of Skyrim from Amazon and I was wondering if the CD code will still work, or if I just wasted my money?

As long as they aren't previously used codes. And Skyrim and all of the dlcs are the same as the Legendary Edition.

Except that buying the Legendary Edition is a heck of a lot cheaper then purchasing that content separately.

No. Bethesda had an offer where owning all the original content would get you SE, but that expired upon SE's release: October 28th last year.

Okay cool. Is there that drastic a difference between Legendary Edition and SE?

The same game but differences in how it runs and modding capability.

LE requires less computer resources to run, in general.

LE has more and bigger mods available and better doco on setting up mods.

SE is 64 bit, so mods can use more that 4 Gb RAM, and be better
