Can't play as Norse

That's just it. I can create a norse character, but as soon as it loads, it crashes the game entirely.

Now, I bought Loki when it was put out on disc and it never worked. I mean, the worse game ever. Never could play it. Ever. Now, I've encountered a ton of crashes and can't play one class at all. I thought, hey, perhaps the digital version will work. I mean, they must ensure it works.

Have I been fooled again? I hope not, because it really looks like a game I can really enjoy.

I am running Loki on Windows 7 x64 with no problems (steam version). I ran each character for several minutes just to see what they were like and I did not experience a crash. However, I have a special Physx version installed for older games (9.12.0613) so maybe that is something to look into.

Are you running nvidia or ati?

I have an nvidia 560 ti on an AMD FX (cpu) system. By the way, I haven't changed the compatibility mode in any way (for any of my games actually), but you may find something that works for you (like XP mode).

You might want to try a file verification first (assuming this is a Steam install of course).
