We've been working on the new version that's still in development for over 2 years. It's a true sequel (and a full rewrite in a new engine). The scope of what we're doing is far more than an update, although that is how I imagined the project early on.
By the sounds of things, 3 is going to be epic!
Plus, check out Dan Dixon here! He's taking time out of his day to directly appologise and talk and discuss stuff about the game. That's some serious devotion to the player, right there. When the guys making the game care enough about what you think to answer any hairbrained question you pose on a forum, you know the game is going to be good.
My question is, what do you do?
What keeps you guys entertained for so long, and keeps you busy.
For me, in the little I've played, I noticed too much of a sandboxy feel ie no goals or tangeable 'gameplay.'
I haven't even touched the game in what feels like forever, but I'm just curious what keeps you guys playing for so long cause I feel like maybe there's something I'm missing and potentially I could get the same enjoyment from the game myself.
