Achievement ideas for the next Universe Sandbox
Admittedly some of the achievements in the current version of Universe Sandbox are uninspired (which has been pointed out in a number of different threads).

Help us come up with some awesome idea for achievements we can include in the next version.

What are you best ideas for achievements in the next Universe Sandbox?

First of all, one passionate request: please don't include another time impossible and totally useless achievements, like "start 23568 billion times" or "play 24/7 for the next 250 years" xD

Right... these are the uninspired achievements I'm talking about.

So what should the achievements be instead of 'time impossible'?

Create a simulation with at least X objects. X may vary. How about a nice 42.
Upload a simulation. --> Steam Workshop?
Download and play a custom simulation. --> Steam Workshop?
Rate a custom simulation.
(no achievements for 10000 received ratings please)
In general look at the achievements for Garry's Mod and avoid everything there. That "game" has achievements that are just as bad as your current "game". Some even worse.

I think it's a good idea! :D

I wish you guys would add more planets or better objects....

Would be nice to have achievements based on real astronomical events. Like create a supernova and make its light reach the Earth precisely in the year 1006 AD. Or something goofy. Like make the Earth fly all the way through Oort cloud.

How about an achievement for making a semi-realistic recreation of our solar system from scratch? For example, putting all 8 planets, plus Pluto, Earth's moon, and maybe a couple of Jupiter and Saturn's moons in "good enough" orbits.

Why would you? I'm pretty sure the game will be released with the solar system as a standard simulation anyway. It's my personal favorite in the current game.

I know it's already provided as a simulation. The idea behind it was to have a predefined goal of building from scratch a stable solar system like our own, instead of simplying modifying the preexisting simulation.

IDEAS (Achievement names and desc. included)

Milkdromeda- Crash the Andromeda and Milky Way galaxies together

Extinction Event- Crash an asteroid into a planet

Singularity Collapse- Make the solar system get sucked into the sun or a black hole(edited 8/17/13)

=====================================================================
PS- Dont own the game just played it at a friends house. Cant wait for mac version in the upcoming major update!

Personally, my favorite thing to do is to make everything in the universe the same mass as the Sun and watching the ensuing chaos. Something along those lines would be fun.

Something to do with a gravitational slingshot perhaps. Like, use the mass of Jupiter to slingshot a probe towards Saturn, something like that.

Or how about, Send a comet from the Oort Cloud and crash it into Jupiter.
