Is there any way to limit the FPS or force VSync on?
Using a somewhat modern machine (AMD FX-8350, AMD Radeon R9 280X), I'm getting along the lines of 500 FPS on the menu, and still 200+ in moderate simulations. It feels and sounds like the coils on the graphics card will combust from all that unneeded strain.

I tried forcing VSync driver-side with the Catalyst Control Center, no avail.
So, as title: Is there any known way to force VSync or limit the FPS whatsoever?

Well you could always use somthing like fraps. Err I think that you can limit fps that way almost positive try it out.

Oh, yes, that does work indeed. I'd never have thought of (ab)using Fraps as a remedy for too high FPS. Well, it only locks it while recording, so my disk will get flooded with riveting footage. Well, you can't have everything. Thanks, guy.
