What happens? When do you get the error? What video card do you have? OS?

Win 7 (home?...i forget)
BTW i own a ton of games on steam (older and newer than this title) and they all work except THIS ONE. Runaway: A Road adventure....The game will not start due to that pk.03 resource error or something similar. Even the other runaways run. I have done everything under the sun. the other "version" works. But steam is preventing this one from working for some reason.
Overall its a good game....just wish I could run my steam version
Im a IT guy.....I done all the noob steps. Thats not the problem..Steam is the problem

^^ Just one (a few more like this) post my error is same except its .03 and Runaway: a Road adventure..debug asserition failed
I agree...however it doesnt work for some on steam :(
get the game working its not that hard really, the codes are very basic because its a old ish game, even in binary its a snap.
I hate programming/scripting so ill try and update C++ and post update. I figured steam updates the C++ files...but i guess not :P Thanks for the suggestion!
UPDATE: Did not work :( I did only install the 2012 one...which now i think about it doesnt make much sense since this is an older game. But damn....this is what im talkin about. I shouldnt have to go thru all this! Thanks steam!
Emailed steam support. No help
Thanks for the tip Mr. Pro-Tier. That's right...cause IT people arent allowed to make mistakes. You tell me! Voodooman!
BTW..Steam installed corrupt C++ files...And look what you just told me to do. Reformatting is quicker than actually reading that wall of text.
Do you even lift?
