Closure will not play

Alright, I got this game from a friend through the Humble Bundle, and the game Closure will not run. I click on new game, and then it hits a black-screen with only background music.

Yeah, I'm starting to think they aren't going to do anything about this.

Same here, I'm getting "resolution out of range" so it looks like it's trying to open either at too high a resolution or refresh rate. If there's a command line switch to reduce one or the other it'd be helpful to be informed of this

Just tested with an HD monitor and it worked, looks like the resolution's set to 1080p by default. I'll see if there's a config file I can edit out of game and report back

ok, in your steam directory go to \steamapps\common\Closure\Resources and edit savedsettings.cfg with notepad. Set values for #width and #height to match your computer's resolution and save out. That should resolve the issue when restarting the game.

by default, the resolution of the game is the same as youir monitor is. My ingame resolution is 1366*768 , the cfg resolutionis also 1366*768 . The game still shows black background

Ok, I tried to do that, and it didn't work. I couldn't edit anything.

It would help a lot more in diagnosing the issue if you posted your computer's specs.

I figured out that my particular problem was caused by having two monitors at different resolutions. It picked up the resolution from the larger of the monitors though it was displaying on the smaller, so my fix will only work if your problem has the same cause.

I have the same problem.. Looked at the config files, still the same.. sucks :(

I don't have sound at all. Game works fine, but no sound. Also when I want to exit game I get not responding process in task manager.
Does somebody know how to fix sound problem?
