World 3, Level 8 Glitch
So I understand that you're supposed to be able to move the second light so that you don't hit the first target. The problem is that even though it'scompletely dark on the first target, when I aim there is still a ring where the first target should be and when I shoot, the first target still gets hit. Any ideas on how to fix this? I had to change the lighting when I first started playing but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it and I can't remember how I did it or which forum I read it it in to try adjusting that again. But I don't feel like that should effect this.

I don't have any guarantees for how this effects the game, but the blur on spotlights is in Resources/shaders/ and Resources/shaders/ You can open them in a text editor. Each of these has a line that looks like

sum *= 1.0/46.0;

try changing it to like

sum *= 1.1/46.0;

to make the spotlights around 10% brighter (i think) which might help (make backups of the files first)"

This workaround will most likely have unintended consequences later on in the game, so I recommend undoing it after you get past the problem area.

Thank you! I had to change it to 0.7/46.0 and then it worked properly. And it turns out that I had changed it back the first time as well.
