Crashing?

I've just recently bought this game but it keeps crashing when I try to play it and i've uninstalled and reinstalled, verified the game cache, defragmented the files but it still refuses to work any help?

I got it to work turns out I needed a windows update I didnt have installed like the idiot I am :P

not working for me either, just installed and select play, it says it is loading and nothing happens!!

i have the same problem, it does not start, switches to black screen and monitor tells me no video input, when i use ctrl-alt-tab i can go back to windows and everything is fine, tried out all things possible can't get a solution, the strange thing is if the game is windowed and you go over the tab with mouse the games seems to run when you click in black screen. tried it out on my laptop with nvidia 670m and tried in on my two desktops one with hd 7970ghz the other one with r9 290x with the same results. Is it a setting or is the game buggy? All other games run fine on my systems.
