PROBLEM WITH GFWL

I downloaded the game and when to run it, I get the following error message "FAILED TO INIATILIZED GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE" and the game will not start.
How do you solve the problem?

Ive had good luck with GFWL games by downloading and installing the client from the official website. Go ahead and set up your account and profile etc before installing any GFWL games such as VT.
It works better that way rather than having the game set it up.

Give that a shot and see if it helps you.

I just refromated and re-installed this game.
So be aware you may need to ALT+TAB in and out of game to put your CD key into Windows live to activate, or write it down before launching the game.
I had no steam overlay until GFWL patched the game for whatever reason so couldnt see key in game. And it wont patch until activated.

yo lo tengo desde hace 2 meses por lo menos nunca lo pude jugar, soporte "sega" me dijeron que era un problema con "windows games for live (marketplace)" ahi despues de varias cosas me dijeron que pregunte en "microsoft answer" ahi todavia no hay respuestas con solucion. ya probé: instale en una particion del disco duro windows 7 home premium x64 (venia con la notebook), cambiar el idioma en windows 8 (english united kingdom), obviamente probé cosas tácitas (modo de compatiblidad...) Hasta ahora no pude iniciar el juego nunca?????
