PROBLEM WITH GFWL
I downloaded the game and when to run it, I get the following error message "FAILED TO INIATILIZED GAMES FOR WINDOWS LIVE" and the game will not start.
How do you solve the problem?
thanks

Ive had good luck with GFWL games by downloading and installing the client from the official website. Go ahead and set up your account and profile etc before installing any GFWL games such as VT.
It works better that way rather than having the game set it up.

Give that a shot and see if it helps you.

I just refromated and re-installed this game.
So be aware you may need to ALT+TAB in and out of game to put your CD key into Windows live to activate, or write it down before launching the game.
I had no steam overlay until GFWL patched the game for whatever reason so couldnt see key in game. And it wont patch until activated.

I have it for 2 months at least I could never play support "sega" I said it was a problem with "games for windows live (marketplace)" there are several things after I was told to ask for "microsoft answer" there still no answers in solution. already tried: install a hard disk partition windows 7 home premium x64 (came with the notebook), change the language in windows 8 (english UK) obviously tried things tacit (compatibility mode ...) So far I could not never start the game?????

I have this same error but will try out your suggestion.

This solved my problem, I try to transcribe in all forums that had asked the question but I forgot this:

SOLUTION: Point your mouse to where the game is installed typically (C:/programfiles(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/virtua tennis 4) Open the game folder and open 'Launcher' apply your chosen settings and click 'save settings and exit' This should fix it.

paulh2k6 HACE 1 hora
