Project Unleashed is an awesome modding effort, but it's still not Sonic Unleashed. It lacks the story cutscenes, the hub stages (I like to call them "Adventure Fields", because that's how they were called in Sonic Adventure) and the night stages. It would be different if it aimed a "total conversion" perspective like brianuuu's Project STH2006 is attempting to.

I don't understand why Sega doesn't consider porting these console-exclusive Sonic games to PC, given the huge demand they usually have. They tend to convert the same classic Sonic games to different platforms (PC included) over and over, but ignore doing the same with the recent ones or even taking games with already developed PC versions (like Sonic Heroes and Sonic Riders) to Steam.

Although they do seem to progressively port console games to PC, like Sonic CD and SA2.
Maybe they will eventually get to 06' and Unleashed, and because they always improve on those ports, they will probably fix many stuff if they get to 06'.

They will never port Sonic'06,trust me.

But up until Generations, they denied everything related to 06' except for Silver, but he has a new backstory. In gens, they mention both Silver's obsession about the "iblis trigger" and Blaze says she never believed to ever come back to Crisis City, therefore, both Silver and Blaze are familiar with 06's storyline and so do everybody else.
So at least they're not denying it, that's a step towards the cause, right?

And suffer the wearhog all over again? No thanks.

The Unleashed Project mod is enough for me.

So people without X360's and PS3's should just stay with that werehog? I'm one of those who want to play the second half of Sonic Unleashed, because I have the PS2 version, but I can't afford to buy another console like these two. and besides, the X360/PS3 version really fits the PC, if you don't want it, you don't have to buy it.

I have bought the X360 version a 3/4 year ago and i really like the game.It always took me forever to finish the werehog stages but i still loved the game. And actually i liked the medal hunting(probably because i never had to hunt for them). And there actually is much more replpay value than i expected because the are many levels and missions(for both, the normal form and the werehog) but more for the normal sonic.
