Is there a fix for fickle light-dash?

As in, if you press Y it sometimes doesn't work, if you spam it even still it sometimes doesn't work. I've tried everything, this can't be player error.

I don't think there is a fix for that.Would want one too.The only thing you can do is to learn the exact timing when to press the button(and maybe don't have any skills enabled that activates with the Y Button)

And the lightspeed dash is only used very rarely in this game so it shouldn't be a big problem(still frustrating)

I'm a speed-runner, and it's extremely helpful to be able to pull certain things off.
