I used to be able to run the game just fine before, but now I'm getting this error. Can someone help me out here?

Delete the .cfg files in the "sonic generations" files.Then open the config tool again.Or maybe just open the config tool and see if there is something wrong.

Sorry, I should've deleted this post. I just kept going into the configuration tool and messed with the settings till it finally played. I'm guessing it has something to do with the V-Sync setting being turned on, and the computer not able to handle it, or maybe the programmers didn't really do a good job? Not sure what's wrong but I'm for sure that's the problem, because it started working once I turned it off.

The game doesn't like it when yo change settings,especially hardware.

I haven't changed any hardware on my computer, so it was something wrong with its own settings.

I have the same problem with the demo.
