1 - Save the code below to a .txt file:

2) Rename the file from .txt (Notepad file) to .reg (Registry Editor file) - you'll need to turn "Hide extensions for known file types" off in Windows Explorer to do this
3) Double click the file, and click Yes to merge the data into your registry.
4) Turn the controller on, open steam, right click space channel 5, click configure game
5) From Game Control, select "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows", instead of "Standard Game Controller", along with any other required options. Hit Save.
6) Try playing the game as normal - should be able to get past the start screen with the controller instead of the keyboard, and the main menu shouldn't constantly scroll up.

That should be enough, but if you still have issues, make sure you have a SEGA folder in your My Documents folder, and a Space Channel 5 Part 2 folder inside there.
