Big the Cat Crashes My Game - Help Wanted

I've tried this twice now, and I never will again until I find a solution. Everytime I play as Big, the game crashes at seemingly the same point. I've beaten the game, and this started happening about a month ago I think, and I tried it again just a few minutes ago. I only tried it with Mission B on Twinkle Park. It seems to happen only while I'm reeling in a fish, usually when I almost caught it. What's weird is that the music gets stuck in a short, continous loop before it crashes. I tried ctrl+alt+delte to try and get out, but it didn't work. I had to hold the power button on my computer and restart. If anyone could help me with this situation it would be greatly appreciated.

Nah, this is the normal game.

As crappy as it sounds, I think you may need to reinstall. I have never heard of anyone having this issue on PC, mods or no.

In fact I would be a little bit worried about the fact that it entirely crashed your computer to the point you had to hard reboot. Do any other games do this for you?

Nah, this is the only game that does it and it only happens while playing as Big.
