I would also like to know if there is any way to force some kind of window mode. this would be a good game to kill some time while watching something in a neighbouring window.

I agree that a windowed mode would be really nice since the game is crashing every time I'm alt-tabing.

A few years ago I have SUCCESSFULLY (its 100% true, I can swear for it) run this game in the windowed mode. Unfortunately I forgot what exactly did I do. I used some tool like D3DWindower or DxWind, my OS was Windows XP or 7, most likely it was the Windows XP. So DONT GIVE UP, there is a way to run the Worms Blast for sure!

And yeah, I can certainly remember that the game did NOT crash after ALT+TAB'bing, so apparently the running game in the windowed mode is the only solution to this crash problem.

All this day I tried to run Worms Blast windowed on my Windows 7 x64, but I failed. Still need the solution.

I did exactly what that site said, but the bat doesn't open the game, and Steam always bring up the Worms Blast Launcher with lower resolution and opens the game fullscreen...
