Chantelise Speed Run

I've never tried speed running before, but after marathoning so much SGDQ I decided to try it out, and Chantelise is the one I want to try.

So, does anyone have any helpful strat guides or speed run videos they'd like to share? Maybe any known level skip glitches? Anything at all to give me a head start on this project is appreciated <3

some levels can be easily skipped using the 'winged shoes' or w/e but you probably know that

Yeah, I found at least 3 levels I can skip that way, but only if the barrier to the next level is cleared. If I were to do a run from a new game, I would still have to destroy all the targets :/ I tried finding a way around it while it's still up, but it was no good.

That being said, I still haven't decided if I want to do a new game run or one where I've completed it already, and have the advantage of all the best items.

This game has always been one that I've thought would make an interesting speedrun, but I actually haven't beaten it...

If it has new game plus, I can see there being runs with the winged boots... but if there isn't, then a speedrun would still totally be viable, but there wouldn't be any cool skips. There's the speed boots near the end of the first area, and then all the hidden treasure would make for an interesting route for equipment.

I've decided to go for a new game speed run, so I'm practicing for that now. I'll definitely put up results for the board to see. It will be awhile before I have anything to show for it, but it will happen eventually.

Ha ha, I don't even have any best times yet. I've only beaten it once (and I took a nice and easy pace of 10 hours, to boot). Right now I'm going through the game and practicing just beating it, to get used to the general flow. I'm doing it twice with my USB controller, then twice with my keyboard, to see which handles better. Once I do that, I'll start doing actual attempts at running, and probably stream them through Twitch, too.

If youre still going for this, aim for under 2 hours.

100% completion (all treasures, but minus survival dungeon) in 2:40, but wasnt speedrunning and died twice lol... If you know what youre doing, 2 hour should easily be possible.
