Changing items in a dungeon?

Is this possible? If so, then how? I'm out of space, you see.

You can throw away inventory items that you don't need to make room for better loot (sorry, "lewt"). You can't discard the adventurer's own items, though.

How do i throw them away?

Select the item in the menu and choose 'Throw Away'? There's a big yellow button for it in the item screen for it.
