Haggling fails!!!!

To start with (for the first few weeks at least!) I can haggle the prices to about 133% of base price or so, but soon they wont accept any price over 114% of base price, regardless of product. What annoys me also, is that you cannot just say no to someone who wants you to buy their item!

Depends on their 'level'
Costumers will only bring x amount of money with them. At start this is a low amount and they will bring more later.
Chances are they want an expensive item and simply can not afford it even at a low % price

To build an what Mano said customers only gain a bigger budget when you improve your reputation with them. There's no way to check this in game but you'll know a customers level with you has improved when you see a heart in a word bubble appear next to their head. To get your reputation up you also have to give them deals they like, typically in that 103%-110% range.

First, understand that individuals have caps. Girls have some of the smallest starting budgets (around 600pix), for example, and most others start off with a budget of around 1,000pix or so. Everytime you see a heart pop up by their face, their budget has increased.

Second, individuals have different 'upper limits' on what they'll pay above value. That same girl won't buy an item straight-out unless it's at 114% or less.

Remember, when you buy items from the marketplace or the guild, you're paying 70% base cost, so selling at 105% ('pin levels') is a 50% markup for profit and usually makes for easy sales and quick growth of your customers' wallets.

Yeha well thats what I figured... I started a new game, and am well into the second month, and everything is rosey! So I dunno why, but doing the exact same thing and havent had an issue! Thanks for the advice guys! :D

I made the stupid mistake by needed to sell stuff for less then 50% when sometimes items where reduced in cost because they asked for such item.
But what i did forget if a item was red so increased in cost to put up my wage to 150%
So in the beginning i sold alot in the wrong way....stupid owel i learnt something.
